The company is led by Bo Hårdell, Aurélien Mancino, and Ragna Huse, who share a passion for integrating sign language into artistic expressions.
During this presentation, Teater5005 will discuss "On the Edge", which will be performed at the festival, and share its philosophy, creations, and creative processes. Their philosophy focuses on showcasing Deaf art and artists while ensuring their performances can be enjoyed by both the Deaf community and hearing individuals. Teater5005
Teater5005 is a Danish theatre company officially founded in 2023, although its work began in 2009 under the initiative of Bo Hårdell, a deaf artist. Today, Bo Hårdell, Aurélien Mancino, a hearing artist, and Ragna Huse, a deaf artist, jointly lead this company as artistic co-directors. Their first professional production is an adaptation in international sign language of Nick Payne's "Constellations", with their second production titled "On the Edge."
