Deaf culture is an independent culture. Hearing culture is also an independent culture. Sign language is a linguistic system unique to Deaf culture. People with ADHD seem to develop their own forms of communication too. So, what does it truly mean to be free in body and mind?
When a Deaf person attempts to communicate with a hearing person with ADHD, it seems the only medium left for communication is the body itself. Maurice Merleau-Ponty once said, “Memory is not merely a reconstruction of the past by consciousness; it fundamentally opens the temporal dimension hidden within this very moment. If the body is seen as the permanent medium that constitutes ‘being,’ then the body becomes the medium through which we communicate with space and time.”
This work is exactly that—a dialogue that crosses two languages and cultures. Through communication, it seeks to illuminate the possible contours of individual existence.

Duck Art Studio
Duck Art Studio derives its name from the dissection of the Chinese character "奇" (qí), symbolizing the impact and contribution of artistic concepts on society, as well as the independence that underlies artistic value. We are dedicated to fostering an artistic ecosystem, focusing on both performance art talent and audience development. Therefore, we emphasize talent cultivation and cultural equity through performing arts programs. Our goal is to achieve sustainable development in the performing arts, including performances for infants, toddlers, and the hearing impaired. By integrating art deeply into society, we aim to use art to influence and address social issues.
